Hydroshark®
Hydroshark® 2000
Our demand for rainwater treatment is growing every day!
The key to water treatment is the ability to separate suspended solids, or TSS (total suspended solids) as it is known in Europe and worldwide. This means all substances (particles) greater than 0.45 mya. The priority for water treatment is primarily to be able to separate really small particles below 200 my, as these contain most of the pollutants such as heavy metals, hydrocarbons and PAHs. Microplastics, such as smaller fractions of tyre residues, etc., are also in this category. Finally, tests show that most pollutants are usually between 63 my - 200 my, so our focus in developing Hydroshark was on this area, i.e. to achieve optimum performance.
The most efficient particle cleaning on the market, reducing particulate matter by up to 63 my!
Depending on its size, it can handle a flow rate of up to 180 litres per second, which is quite unique.
High separation properties - Pat. design.
- Separates particles = e.g. hydrocarbons, metals, microplastics and PAHs.
- It also separates the oil and keeps it inside.
- Different integrated inlet and outlet diameters are available.
- Can be easily adapted to existing pipelines.
- Delivered assembled in a concrete or plastic well = Plug & Play.
- Full external access ensures low maintenance costs.
- Easy maintenance with sludge suction.
- Approved to official standards.
Description
A compact high-flow particle separator that can also separate large quantities of oil.
The entire liner is installed in a well of the correct size, which then acts as a sludge trap.
Introducing Plug & Play solutions with different types of boreholes on the market.
1. The incoming water flow is directed tangentially towards the centre of the hydroseparator.
2. The particles follow the flow downstream towards the bottom, while the liquid material remains at the surface.
3. Particles are effectively separated and retained at the bottom of the sludge trap by means of the mesh at the bottom of the hydroseparator, the waveguides at the bottom and the ratio of the inlet and outlet zones, which is specifically tailored through a serrated design. No pressure is left behind, so even the smallest particles can be separated optimally.
4. The quiet and calm flow of water now rises upwards and finds its way to the outlet.
5. The purified water passes through the teeth located 360 degrees around the peripheral canal.
6. Finally, the water is discharged through the outlet (so there is no "direct" connection
between the inlet (1) and the outlet (6)).

Function
A particle separator that removes solids from rainwater!
Separates hazardous substances that are transported in the stormwater stream.
These substances are primarily heavy metals such as copper, zinc, cadmium, lead, chromium, particulate hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and organic compounds up to 63 m.
* Used as an advanced pre-filter for all types of rainwater.
* Separating rainwater instead of bypass type oil separators.
* More advanced Class II oil separator option.
